Small Gate-Leg Table

A very early oak gateleg of small and pleasing proportion - large enough for tea and cake, or whiskey and chocolates, depending on the time of day.

The legs have a distinctive cannon-shaped turning, suggesting the table is Georgian - which nobody cares about, except me.

Not certain about the splayed feet, suspect stability was a factor, too much whiskey maybe......
