An antique village rug from the northwest of Persia - at least 100 years of age.
Wonderfully soft with a floppy feel, hand-knotted, and possibly Heriz or Karaja (from the district of Heriz).
Featuring soft, muted colours and a stepped medallion on a terracotta field.
