Hat Box
This early flat-topped trunk or hat box is in the manner of a Louis Vuitton case, with the revolutionary flat top that LV perfected in the late 1850s.
This model is of very early plywood, first used in suitcases from 1898, so we think it is English pre-1914, and is rather valuable.
