A stunning 18th-century Directoire commode. The original Italian marble top has a shaped edge and circular corners, capping the chest's fluted columns.
The three long drawers are fitted with lovely Directoire handles. The chest sits on brass-capped conical feet, known as toupie feet, in the manner of a spinning top.
