The finest Louis XVI kingwood bureau plat we have ever owned. It was 40 degrees in France and we spotted this fantastic bureau plat - after an hour of negotiation and several carafes of cold water, we managed to secure it.
Early 19th-century, with excellent brass mouldings and escutcheons.
Kingwood, walnut, and other French timbers. Perfect.
