I don't know who runs js.co.nz but Katrina and Levi tell me not to buy any more ornate single drawer side tables, just the absolutely plain George II ones with the tapered legs.

So here we have, ladies and gentlemen, the epitome of Georgian furniture design: a single drawer, quarter-sawn 18th-century oak side table, with subtly tapering legs. The only nod to ornamentation comes in the form of two tiny, lion-faced handles.

Perfect.
