Empire Commode

This wonderful French Empire commode has come back from restoration and it is amazing.

It looks to be made from long-cut walnut or possibly cherry - I will confirm.

The long top drawer is flanked by original ormolu mounts. The three drawers below are flanked by a shaped column.

The whole commode is raised on block feet to give that solid Empire feel. Exceptional.
