Astrolabe
We got these wonderful old pillars from Yorkshire. This is a particularly nice version with the gun barrel (in the manner of a cannon) raised on three rectangular plinths supporting a large square mount, which in turn supports the later iron astrolabe.
They can look amazing in the garden, especially in a bed of wild cornflower!
