This young lady forgot to put her dressing gown on before she took a nap, and the artist captured her beautiful profile. The sitter would be a very old lady now, possibly even dead, as this oil was painted in the 1920s. Julian our art finder has framed it in a particularly nice Montparnasse frame from the same period.
