Breton Poster
At the initiative of the Cornouaille Tourist Group, a Painters' Route in Cornouaille was launched to promote the region and its heritage, from a tourist and pictorial point of view - the artist shown is Pierre de Belay.
From the 1850s to the beginning of the 20th century, a community of artists emerged in the area, the most prominent of which was Paul Gauguin, who visited several times in his career.
The artwork is mounted without being glued down, which maintains the value of these original vintage posters.
