A fine and perfectly-proportioned period Louis XV oval table.
Lesser tables are cast in plaster; the exceptional models are carved in wood and then glazed in gesso resulting in a much finer/sharper finish. Don't underestimate the quality of this Rococo Louis XV table. The four cabriole legs are strengthened with a Rococo stretcher base. Features include pierced carvings to the top frieze, which sits below a faux parquet top.
