For many years we have imported slabs of rustic French oak from France. The slabs have grain cracks and saw marks. Weatherby, our clever cabinet maker, working in collaboration with Katrina, somehow uses all these not-so-straight boards in the Wabi-Sabi manner. This one is finished in black stain.
