Louis Philippe Commode

So often we are asked for chests-of-drawers or commodes less than 1m wide. In the antique industry, a 3' (900mm) commode or Georgian chest always commands a premium. The smaller pieces cost as much to make as the larger commodes, and their small pleasing proportions make them very desirable.

This Louis Philippe period commode with exceptional flame veneer is from the 1820s. It is raised from the floor with small bracket feet, creating a lightness, and supporting three flat drawers below a single-shaped top drawer.

Handles can be added if it makes life easier.
