Once upon a time, I went into a very nice house in Monaco and they had a small version of this stunning Directoire frame - it prompted me to get on with painting this frame.
It is fitted with a tension slat kit. When the mattress sits on the slats it becomes the most comfortable thing you've ever slept on!
