Transitional Commode
This is the best model of a commode featuring inlay.
You get Louis XV bomb commodes, which are very ornate, and Louis XVI commodes with turned and fluted legs, but between those two periods sits the Transitional Period, when these lovely break-fronted commodes were made.
Each drawer has beautiful kingwood and walnut inlays, original ring handles and Louis XVI key escutcheons.
Raised on tapered legs with brass-capped feet.
