18th Century Gilt Mirror

We purchased this 18th century period mirror in France, but it could be called Georgian if you have an English eye.

The frame comprises five raised flutes. Its corners are mitred and it is water gilded.

The deceptively simple but very classy frame surrounds the original crystalline mercury plate glass.
