Ebonised Louis XV Period Commode
At 300 years old, this is the real deal.
How amazing that we can still get these period pieces and have exceptional restoration staff here in NZ to bring them back to life.
The chests three small drawers sit above two larger drawers, all fitted with original Louis XV handles and key escutcheons. The Louis XV tapered and fluted front legs are joined by a frieze with a central fluted decoration.
This is a very very nice piece.
