This is very nice, a plain Louis Philippe mirror from the 1820s.
Its frame has the very best gilding with engraved water gilding running down the centre of the frame's convex moulds. The flanking concave mouldings are blackened, highlighting the gilding. The frame's inner beading is oil gilded.
A very understated and very classy mirror.
