Louis XIV Chest of Drawers
I could tell you this is the best commode I have ever owned, if it isn't then it's a very close second.
A truly handsome piece of 18th century furniture.
The three serpentine-fronted drawers, fielded in the Louis XIV manner, are decorated with period Louis XV handles fitted over the original shield escutcheons.
It deserves a good home, sitting somewhere it will be seen and used.
Don't underestimate the value of this piece.
