Swedish Sofa

This is a fine Louis XVI period sofa, with its original Gustavian paint finish.

Purchased in Sweden but possibly originally from France, and out of a fine chateau.

Definitely Paris quality. The sofa's lines are beautiful, the carving excellent.

Whether for a bedroom or sitting room, this piece really raises the bar.
