A Breton farmhouse table dating from the Louis XVI period, with a rather handy stretcher base that you can rest your feet on while drinking or playing footsie with your dinner guests. It is the perfect size and proportion, the planked 18th century top has been edged and end cleated with mitred corners. The legs are all mortice and tenon jointed.
A very good table.
