Bureau Plat
This is a great example of a Louis XVI bureau plat.
The two short drawers, fielded in brass, flank the long centre drawer. The desk is black with a gold-embossed leather top and matching brushing slides. The desk is supported on four turned and fluted brass-capped legs.
