A period bachelor chest. The chest's small proportions make it a very desirable piece.
I was once a very desirable bachelor but nobody gives me a second glance now.
Anyway, back to the chest, perfectly formed George II bracket feet support the two long and two short drawers, all with plate-backed swan necked handles. The two glove drawers flank two tiny stud drawers.
Extraordinary workmanship and just gorgeous.
