18th Century Candle Box

The other day I bought this box back from a horse trader, who lives in Georgetown. I sold it to him 30 years ago because he needed somewhere to keep his candles, this is before he got electricity. Anyway, you will be pleased to hear he is now connected to the grid!
The box, with its sloping front, has excellent colour and patina and could be repurposed to store RATs or Covid masks.
