Enfilade
Enfilade - my French is terrible but I think enfilade means row of soldiers. Anyway, Katrina has photographed this 'row of soldiers' on the move.
This piece is extremely heavy with its one-piece marble top sitting over four short drawers fielded in brass, with my favourite down-and-along-and-up-again handles and brass key escutcheons. The drawers sit over four doors, also with fielded brass panels and brass key escutcheons. The Enfilade sits on brass-tipped tapered legs.
The complete package.
