Duchesse Brisée

Duchesse Brisée is the French word to describe a chaise in three pieces. I think we have only had three of these in 30 years. They are usually gone before you get to the market in France, even if you get up early! 

Katrina has finished this piece in a stunning ochre and cream fabric that complements the carved and French-polished frame. The crisp rope- edge carving speaks to the quality of this chaise.
