While we often bleach these Louis Philippe commodes the grain, colour and patina of this piece is too perfect to strip. So here you have it, against all fashion trends, a 'brown' commode, with exceptional flame grain veneers in subtle shades of brown.
The original fossil stone top sits atop one shaped drawer followed by three straight drawers, each with book-matched veneers and lovely escutcheons; there is even a secret bottom drawer.
