Semainier

The perfect Semainier - a French commode .

Francophiles will know that a semainier has seven drawers, one for each day of the week - la semaine.

You are supposed to keep your week's lingerie collection in this commode, although i expect the girl will edit this information out.

Each of the drawers is cross-banded in brass and features a Louis XV key escutcheon flanked by two Regency Louis XVV brass ring handles.

It's really very nice.
