Small Georgian Chest
We often get asked for small Georgian oak chests of drawers.
They are very hard to find.
This looks to be George ll, with four long drawers, each with plate back swan-neck handles and matching plate back key escutcheons.
The top of the chest is quarter-sawn oak, which generally indicates that the oak was milled before 1820.
