Coronation Chairs
On my recent trip to London, I spotted these same chairs in the Churchill War Rooms (worth a visit).
These oak armchairs were designed for the coronation of Edward VIII and produced by the master cabinetmakers R. Foster & Son, Wagan, United Kingdom. Each chair is impressed on the underside with the St Edwards Crown.
They are upholstered in luxurious houndstooth Etro fabric from Italy.
The armless versions are $800 each
