Empire Mirror With Eagle
In original shagged condition, this regency period butlers mirror just screams take me home!
These mirrors are often over-restored, this one is just right. The Eagle is flanked by Rococo acanthus leaves while the convex mirror is surrounded by gilt balls on a strong turned frame. Excellent base carving gives this mirror power and balance.
