Refectory table

We purchased old flitches of oak that have aged for 30 to 40 year off the retiring antique dealer in Brittany- Those planks are up to 4 m long and a meter wide and have been fillet stacked for decades. 

Our man Weatherby turns these flitches of French oak into these gorgeous refectory tables for customers. This particular table is off to the Hawke's Bay and is 3.3M x 1100mm, and weight a tonne.  

Our french polisher does the finish out of our new premises in Marua Road, as they are too big to fit in his workshop. He gets the patina and colour so you can see two inches into the wood like a pond- so nice.

We can quote you a price for any size or leg style. This table in the photo was $14k delivered in 2019.
