Swedish Enfilade
Purchased in France, this Louis Philippe period dresser base or enfilade is finished in Swedish-grey gesso, so simple and understated. Three doors with fielded panels sit below three secret and shaped drawers. At two metres long this is a substantial piece of furniture, its only decoration are the three shield-shaped key escutcheons.
