French Louis XIV Dresser Base
This is the heaviest piece of furniture in the world. It is made from 18th century French oak and chestnut, even the back boards are an inch thick. Don't even think about lifting it!
The dresser's features include three fielded drawers with original cast iron handles, and three plain fielded doors with original hinges and escutcheons.
A Nordic black gesso finish is perfect on this piece.
