Full Length Louis XV Mirror
I purchased this full-length gendarme-topped mirror at Le Mans.
It was painted, but our artist has removed the paint to reveal the original, if somewhat shagged, gilding underneath.
The very fine fluting on the central convex moulding just amplifies the finesse of this mid 19th century mirror.
