Bureau Plat

Purchased in Brittany, this lovely 19th century bureau plat is finshed in kingwood veneer.

The bureau plat's features include: three shaped drawers to the bureau's front, each with excellent ormulu key escutcheons. The three blind drawers to the back of the bureau are similarly decorated with ormulu key escutcheons.

The corners of the desk have beautiful ormulu mounts, matched on the bureau's feet.

The gold-embossed leather insert is surrounded by smooth ormulu mouldings.
