Overmantle Mirror

Regency overmantle mirrors are very sought after because they are landscaped in orientation, as opposed to portrait.

They were made about 1820 - this one is particulalry nice because it is small and a lovely colour.

You can date the real overmantle mirrors from the black strip surrounding their glass.
