Military Chest

Military Chests are very desirable pieces. We have one customer who has bought four!

English military chests split into two pieces. The top three drawers lift off the chest's bottom half, which comprises two drawers, so that when you travel to the next battle you can put one half of the chest on either side of your mule.

Sometimes these chests were made 'in the Empire' but this looks to be English made, as the drawer lines are very nice fine grain quarter sawn oak.
