Black Louis Philippe Bookcase
You need to see this..... three doors over three cupboards.
A Period Louis Philippe bookcase - so plain, so boring, such stylishly understated French elegance.
This is an example of the 'how to do it' of bookcases.
The bookcase's cornice moulding and its perfectly porportioned doors are lovely. The drawers that seperate the top glazed cupboards from the bottom fielded blind doors, are just the right depth.
The knobs are perhaps the only giveaway that the drawers exist.
