Glazed French Vitrine
A late 19th century Louis XlV-style French painted vitrine. This piece is perfect from top to bottom, with its gendarme-shaped cornice and foliate scroll carving. The crown-topped doors, each with 10 panels of bevelled glass are gorgeous and sit above the doors' fielded panels decorated with foliate applied carvings over a cross-hatched base. The whole sits on very finely carved Louis XlV-style feet.
