Partners Desk

This is a very nice oak partners desk (we call it a 3/4). The desk has two flights of drawers to each pedestal, and two cupboards to the rear of the pedestals.

A pedestal desk is the original kit set furniture piece. The top, with its six drawers, three to the back and three to the front, lifts off the pedestals. 

This desk has been raised on block feet to accommodate the long legged 21st century person.

The desk is made of exceptional close grained 1/4 sawn oak. Its burgundy coloured leather, which is gold embossed, suits the desk's lovely oak, as do the swan neck brass handles.

Very plain, very nice, and very Georgian in appearance.
