Louis Philippe Gilt Mirror
Purchased in Brittany, a Louis Philippe Mirror with an internal beaded edge. Some gold mirrors are very gold, this one has a wonderful pale gold finish with engraved water gilding rubbed through to the red bole gesso beneath.
