Two Drawer Louis XV Bombe Commode

You need to look at lots of bombe commodes to find the one with the lovely proportions - I should have used a long lens so you could better appreciate the lines of this lovely piece.

Anyway, from France, a late 19th century commode with solid linings, kingwood and walnut inlays, and excellent gilded brass ormolu mounts, handles and escutcheons. The commode's lovely Italian marble top completes the picture.
