Large French Gilt Mirror

A large and impressive French gilt mirror just in and photographed sitting on the floor as it weighs a tonne! Plain Louis Philippe moulding with shouldered cones. The fantastic crest is crisply carved and harks back to the Rococo period with acanthus leaves, scrolls and inner beading. The thick plate glass mirror is backed in mercury giving a sparkly feel. One of our blokes will need to hang this for you.
