French Walnut Bureau Plat

An attractive late 19th century walnut bureau plat or flat writing desk with a centre drawer flanked by a pair of shorter drawers. The fine fluted legs are smashing quality with the round laurel leaf brass casting. The replacement brass casters raise the desk so that even a long legged 6 footer person can sit comfortably.
