The classic Georgian oak chest of drawers from the George II period-understated and simple. If I had to choose the epitome of Georgian simplicity then this is it. Two short over three long drawers, swan necked handles, good bracket feet and excellent colour. This fine piece is currently on display at Jonathan Grant Gallery, 280 Parnell Road, Auckland.
