18th ( or early 19th ) Century Italian Modena Card Table
An important Italian Modena Card Table in walnut, inlaid with many different timbers depicting rural scenes on cabriole legs.
This is a very special piece of Italian quality furniture.
It opens and turns for the playing. Surface in green baize, surrounded by further inlay decoration.
Our visiting expert Mr Olly Newland assures me that this table is infact not late 1700's but in his opinion is early 19th century, but is a very handsome piece all the same and very well priced!
