Walnut Bureau

This is a first period English red walnut bureau of absolutely stunning quality, it is the real deal! Red Walnut predates the age of mahogany and satinwood. This is the sort of thing that used to sell in Mallets of London for 26,000 pounds.

Two short drawers over three long with pierced handles and escutcheons. The long fall drops on the supporting lopers to reveal a perfectly fitted interior of a cupboard flanked by two banks of smaller drawers supporting six gothic letterboxes.

The fall has an old Green Gold Embossed Leather insert.
