'Rugby' Oil Painting
An early French oil painting purchased in Normandy, France. A possible depiction of early French provincial rugby teams.
The reason I know it is a French team is that the bloke on the right, in red, is tackling the bloke in white, without the ball! And the other bloke in red has done a 'Hollywood dive' to try and get a penalty.
