Richard Bramble was born in London in 1968. He won an art scholarship to attend Sherborne School in Dorset. In 1986, he gained a place at the Slade School of Fine Art, which is part of University College London. Since graduating in 1990 Richard Bramble has worked full time as a fine artist, with his work appearing in numerous exhibitions around the country, and in various private and corporate collections. Since 1995 Richard Bramble has worked with top Michelin starred chefs in the UK, creating a range of plates and platters.

In 1998 Richard Bramble's collaboration with the chefs led to the publication of 'The Star Chefs Cookbook', incorporating his paintings and their famous signature dishes.

The creative style of Richard Bramble has become a globally recognised ‘signature’ which continues to attract commissions and interest. Consequently, his work is becoming accessible to a wider audience who appreciate his landscapes, chef collaborations, wildlife, and culinary themes. At present Richard Bramble splits his time between London, Dorset and the Outer Hebrides, Scotland, as well as undertaking commissions in the UK and worldwide.
